FR606 and NenuFAR Operations

This service task of the SNO SKATE combines the operation activities of NenuFAR and LOFAR’s FR606 station.

For LOFAR:

  • Plan and schedule observations with FR606 in "standalone" mode;
  • Check the observations with FR606 in "standalone" mode and controlling their quality;
  • Make new observation modes available;
  • Provide new data processing pipelines.

For NenuFAR:

  • Plan and program observations;
  • Monitor observations and control their quality;
  • Test and calibrate NenuFAR;
  • Provide new observation modes (e.g. "transient" mode);
  • Provide new data processing pipelines (e.g. data in imaging mode, in phased array mode...).

For LOFAR and NenuFAR :

  • Plan and schedule NenuFAR observations in LOFAR superstation mode.
